VIEW – Albergo is run by the same Secret Moments partnership that is behind Wedelhutte. Of all of the several Hochzillertal mountain lodges, Albergo features the most dramatic vistas accentuated by its panorama restaurant, roof deck and spa all with 270 degree views (including one of the best sauna views in the world)

FOOD – Best breakfast ever. Amazing eggs benedict that I am a bit of an afficionado of. Served in an elegant setting with its aforementioned view.

GETTING THERE – Being in midst of the Hochzillertal ski area, the directions for getting to Albergo is virtually the same as my Enhanced Directions for Wedelhutte up to where you drop your luggage off at the top of the HOCHZILLERTAL/KALTENBACH” GONDOLA. However, once you drop your luggage in the Anreise Albergo” bin, you need to ski (or hike) the 400m Blue 14 to the “Gondel Wimbachexpress” valley station. The gondola will take you directly to the Alberg!o.

SKIING OUT – Albergo hard Red 6 at top so if you are less comfortable you might do better with the Red 5.

SPECIALS – If you need a comfort break during your ski day, you can return to Albergo and there are special public toilets for guests key access. Like Wedelhutte, the rooms include an infrared bath in room.
