In my extensive research looking for the mountaintop ski lodges of the world, I have stumbled across several “near misses” where quite intriguing possibilities just miss out on some key criteria for being truly “mountaintop”. But they are so alluring, while I have omitted them from the database, I thought I would do a post here mentioning them:
