Time limitations meant that I couldn’t experience even any of the refreshment at Rifugio des Alpes when we stopped by during our recent Dolomite visit, but I did swing by (see photo) and can confirm that it does look like a lovely place at a superb location (sometimes the pictures can be deceptive) with panoramic views in the heart of the Sellaronda.
